Vam Sat, which area is about 50 km from Hochiminh city. Its area is about 2,000 ha where all kinds of plant and animal of marshy ecosystem are found.
08:00 : Our Driver & Tour Guide pick client up at the hotel then transfer to Bach Dang Jetty (at Me Linh Square, opposite to Tran Hung Dao Statue, Ton Duc Thang Street, District 1 – HCMC).
The boat brings you along Saigon River crossing Tan Thuan Harbor, Ben Nghe and enters the confluence of Nha Be River and Dong Nai River. And then goes along Nha Be, Long Tau River to Dan Xay Bridge where the forest stretches as far as the eye can see. The boat continues going into the forest. The boat moors at Vam Sat Ferry Boat. You will be guided by professional and friendly local guides and can enjoy the panorama of salty flooded forest with dozen of strange plants and thousand of storks from the top of Tang Bong Tower. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant and relax. Then, the boat brings you along canals and across the forest to “Dam Doi” (Bat’s swamp) where you can see thousands of bats. Sitting on small sampan, slip through streams or walk along small paths through forest, you can also go fishing and enjoy the fish or crabs they caught.
Leaving Vam Sat, the boat returns to Saigon. You are brought back at the Bach Dang Jetty. Transfer to your place in Saigon. End of trip.
