7D MEKONG DELTA on PRIVATE SONG XANH Cruise & PHU QUOC ISLAND NEW

Day 1: Caibe – Phu An – Dong Hoa Hiep – Vinhlong – Sadec – O/N on board Song Xanh sampan (Lunch, Dinner)
07.00: Our Driver pick you up at your place in Saigon, then take an excursion to Caibe.
10.00: Arrive to Caibe, then starts trip from Cai Be town pier at around 10.30 am. Upon embarkation on your sampan you will be welcomed by your crew. After your installation the cruise will begin with the visit of Cai Be floating market, cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables.
We will proceed to Phu An hamlet, an untouched beautiful area reflecting some of the Mekong delta best sights.
On the way, stop will be made at some local home factories to observe how rice paste, coconut candies and other regional specialties are made. A delicious lunch will await you at "Le Longanier" restaurant, a superb Indochinese house located by the river, in a lush tropical garden surrounded by fruit plantations. After lunch, your sampan will proceed to Sa Dec cruising the Tien Giang river, one of the two large arms of the Mekong. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River bring about large networks of meandering rivers, criss-crossed with countless arroyos, and remaining unknown to many people. We will then cruise on a small beautiful canal through water jacinth plantations… You will take a small rowing boat for a cruise along a narrow canal passing by a local tiny village and fruit plantations.
Further on the banks, some dark smokes in the sky will lead us to one of the largest artisanal bricks and tiles factory where you will have an interesting visit. Sa Dec town will appear like a little “Venice” with numerous narrow canals. You will disembark a the local market place. Before sunset, we will have a very interesting visit at a splendid ancient house or “Nha Co” dating from the early 19th century. After being greeted by the owners, we will cater a candlelight dinner for you, an unforgettable experience in a very unique atmosphere… First night on the Mekong river…

Day 2: Sadec – Long Xuyen – Ong Ho Island – O/N on board Song Xanh sampan (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The breakfast will be served on board at 07am. The day will begin with a guided visit of Sa Dec charming and peaceful town, walking along its narrow streets where beautiful French old houses and Chinese temples dating from the last century are numerous… You will also visit the local market and the Trung Vuong primary school where well known writer Marguerite Duras spent her childhood…(see her famous novel “The Lover”). Back on board your private sampan for your second day cruise in the delta. While your sampan will proceed upstream on the Mekong river to Long Xuyen, a delicious lunch will be served on board…
Long Xuyen is a peaceful typical provincial town lying on the Mekong’s banks, dotted with an attractive floating market… In the afternoon, excursion to “Ong Ho” island to visit the museum of Ton Duc Thang, second president of Vietnam… At the end of the day, we will organize for you an exciting evening with your dinner arranged at a local ancient house. You will be able to share experiences with family members and learn about traditional southern lifestyle, a highlight of your journey to be kept for long time in your memory… Back on board your private sampan for the your second night on the river. The cruise will slowly continue during the night to Rach Gia.

Day 3: Long Xuyen – Rach Gia – Phu Quoc (By Speed Boat) (Breakfast, Dinner)
Arrival at Rach Gia, a port town located at the southern end of Vietnam in the Gulf of Thailand. Its main industries are fishing and agriculture. The breakfast will be served on board at 07am (for those having a connecting flight/ speed boat to Phu Quoc island at 08am, breakfast will be served at 06am). End of services on board the boat.
Leave for Phu Quoc by taking high speed boat from Rach Gia to Phu Quoc. Boat leaves at 07.00hrs. Arrive to Phu Quoc around 08.30hrs, check-in the resort/ hotel in Phu Quoc. At leisure for your relax on the beach in front of your resort. Dinner & O/N at resort in Phu Quoc.

Day 4: Phu Quoc – Free & Easy (Breakfast)
Breakfast at the resort. Free & easy for your own discovery Phu Quoc with some activities on the beach or optional tours. The following tours will be organized at per your request (to be paid extra at hotel or when to make order with us).
1. Discovery Natural Forest (The North)
2. Discovery white Sand beach (The South)
3. Phu Quoc Island 2days trip (the South & the North)
4. Snorkeling in Doi Moi islet (The North)
5. Snorkeling in An Thoi island (the South)

Day 5: Phu Quoc – Free & Easy (Breakfast)
Breakfast at the resort. Free & easy for your own discovery Phu Quoc with some activities on the beach or optional tours.

Day 6: Phu Quoc – Rach Gia (By Speed Boat) – ChauDoc (Breakfast)
Breakfast at resort. At leisure until 12.00 check-out, then transfer to the pier boat with our DRIVER, then take a high speed boat to Rach Gia.
13.00: Boat leaves Phu Quoc.
15.30: Arrive to Rach Gia. Meet our DRIVER at the pier boat, then transfer to Chau Doc city. Free at leisure at hotel/resort VICTORIA in ChauDoc or your own discovery city town as Chaudoc located on the upper Mekong Delta, the town is 280 km south-west of Saigon on to the Cambodian border. With such proximity the local population is an eclectic mix of Cham, Khmer, Chinese and Vietnamese sharing different cultures and historical richness. O/N at hotel/resort.

Day 7: Chau Doc – Phnompenh (By High Speed Boat) (BD)
After breakfast we board an express boat for a trip along the Mekong River (boat leaves ChauDoc at 07.00am) crossing into Cambodia and continuing onto its capital.
Arrival to Phnom Penh around 12.00am. End of services.

*** Trip can be arranged and continue in Cambodia (Siem Reap).
